The Manual Transfer Sling (transfer scoop) can be used for moving a client in difficult situations where a hoist is not accessible, e.g: aircraft etc. 

The situation should be carefully assessed and the sling only used if there is no alternative in order to comply with the Manual Handling Regulations.

Handles are fitted to the perimeter of the sling for easy transfer. 

The sling has a waist band and zip together leg sections for added security.
